which knuckle do you try to land with?

I personally always go for the first knuckle of my hand, thats what ive always been told (either 1st or 1st two anyways.)

However I was reading through Jack Dempsey's book recently and he says to try and land with the knuckle of your ring finger. I'm on vacation right now and don't got anywhere to test that out to see if it is better but **** is intriguing to me.

Anybody actually land with the ring finger knuckle?

Index finger and middle finger knuckle....just the way my father taught me since I was 5 years old. Never had any hand problems, so I assume I'm punching correctly.
