I wouldn't recommend pro fight gloves because they tend to break down more than bag gloves. Go with Ringside, Everlast, Title, or G&S. I wear G&S and have never had a problem. My son uses Ringside and likes them.

Fight gloves won't allow the proper protection that is needed when you're hitting a target that isn't of a human density. Go with some 16 ozers, this will allow the proper protection while you're going some rounds on the bag.

You will also notice a world of difference when you take those gloves off, and your actually get into a match with some 8-12ozers

I use some reyes ones i seen some pro's use and i must say they protect my hands pretty well. They have an old school look to em cus they slip on it reminds me of those old videos of the heavys like george foreman hitting the bag.
