    Should I stay HW or should I go CW?

    I am 1m80 (5,9 ft (or 5,11 ft??)) tall and I am weighing up to 96 kg (211 pounds). The odd thing is that I dont have much fat but heavy bones. My doctor told me that with that I weight I should whether be looking like mike Tyson or whether be fat.. I am none of these.

    As I practice boxing, I am considering to get in a tip top shape in about two months. I was thinking that becoming a Cruiserweight could help me get rid of my fat and fight guys my size although I don't really care which size I an fighting as long as I am fighting.

    BUT... I don't wanna lose my punching power

    That's why I to stay as Heavyweight and start a special diet to burn only fat without losing muscles and then after building some muscle. But I need a very accurate diet plan to do that in two months.

    Has anyone a special advice to give me concerning any diet to follow to stay as a HW?

    Or do you guys think I should go down to the CW?

    If you are talking about fighting pro how many amateur fights have you had? if you had some were the matches at heavy or superheavy? If you have no amateur fights i highly suggest you have some before you think about fighting pro.
    It looks easy when you watch a match on tv but when you are the one fighting things get a little tricky and painful.
    After a few amateur matches at heavy and superheavy you will know your best weight and if you really want to fight or not.
    I am 6'1 around 208 i fought amateur at heavy and had a few at superheavy and what i can say is normally the boxers at heavy or cruiser for the pros are more athletic but the superheavys or heavyweight for the pros are not as athletic but much stronger.
    If i went pro i would have fought at cruiser no question

      180cm is **** on 6ft
      I am 6ft3inc and just over 70kg but I am all bones.
      You are not that far off it just depends how easily u can make the wait.

        sorry to be negative but it ain't gonna happen.
        you have too many (and contradicting) goals: get lean, get more muscular, get ready to fight.
        you can manage one, maybe two of those but by no means all three. a professional boxer that has already been there and with a team around him may be able to but that is not your situation.

        my advice would be to get nice and lean and in shape, hit the 91kg division and take it from there. then if you want to build up do it with everything else already in order.

          Ok , so if I understood you well, it would be better to start as a very small heavyweight.

            I will start my amateur carrier in october-november.
