      Leg day today (legs twice per week), so close to hitting 1000lbs on the leg press; got 975 for 5 today, last time I tried 1000 I got stuck at the bottom of the first rep - Still, 5 sets of that ended with a mega strip set all the way down to 150lbs is a quad killer.

      Back tomorrow, my favourite day; Deadlifts and heavy rows do the back good. World Cup season, have to sport the Hulk jersey.

            What tips do you all have for repping out a weight?

            I find that if I waste my time trying to put up 225 as many times as I can I loose too much energy to do heavier lifts so I stay off that.

            I barely do any weight over 8 reps anyway, even if it's something low just as a warm up.

            or I will rip through the first 10 reps but then suddenly I'll go half speed for the other 6 and tap out.

                  Good bench day yesterday... trying to find the right combo of weight and hypertrophy for growth.

                  Warmed up with 135lbs - 10

                  225 - 8
                  265 - 10
                  265 - 10
                  265 - 8
                  245 - 10
                  225 - 12
                  135 - 35

                  Then did chest flys and incline.

                  Ridiculously sore today.

                      dont overdo it

                      most injuries come from people overdoing it

                      you have the dedication, commitment and mentality to want to improve but discipline is also key
