Theory of mine... but just trick him into countering and then counter that... kill poison with poison.

Fight in close throw lots of punches and use lots of movement. I don't really think Pacquiao won the first 3 JMM - Pac fights but i do think he used the right technique to beat a counter puncher like JMM but you def gotta have the stamina and be able to take a punch

How does one beat a counter-puncher?

Throwing long, unpredictable combinations works well. Counter punchers are looking to counter certain shots that they have trained on countering over and over. When you throw a right cross/jab combination at them per se, they're thrown off. If you couple that with timing and awkward angles, the counter puncher finds himself in hot water, unable to think his way through what you're doing. That's my two cents.

Ive tried that for years with Anorak and still cant draw him out.
