What are the benefits to throwing jabs/crosses to the opponents chest area rather then stomach or head? A good example was ward vs Dawson. Ward kept landing the cross to the chest hook to the head. Anyone else have any fights like this and why?

Easier to land, good for when a person is very fast and hard to catch like roy jones jr, or if they have such a tough chin that you will never ko them you may as well work the body over e.g. holyfield, also the solar plexus is one of the worst places to take a body shot, liver is probably the worst imoOriginally posted by shs101 View Post -
