Once a fighter has learned to use his eyes he doesn't need to just instantly run away. Take a step to the side, dig acouple more then maybe exit with the jabs. Hit and run away is entirely European/Monty Python.

Any problems that I might have attained boxing were attained as a professional. I wanted to fight that way at the time and I did just that, pitbull aggressive, with many world class fighters. But don't think that that style was the only one I learned........ Rockin'

rockin your saying what i said now! i said prepare your feet to attack from a different angle move your head but be in just enough range to be hit and not hit fighting smart

      jass vs rockin lol
and if the pressure fighter is quippe with the right tools all the same.

Marlon Starling never hd to run away, Thomas Hearns would land, take a side maybe slip shot and dig some. I never saw Hagler run from anything or anybody.

slap and run is what amateur boxing has turned into with the computer scoring. USA Boxing is changing to the 10 point must system. That will brng back true skills over this hit and run bull****........... Rockin'

this is redundant, you train your guys to hit and run and I'll equip mine. smart depends on the fighter and his attributes. taking a step back is fine, if there is nothing else there after landing a shot, but to just instantly jump out of the exchange without using your eyes is simply a waste.........Rockin'

'enough to keep away from trouble', any fighter knows that the only way to keep away from trouble is to be out of range. You are boring me now, I'm moving on..........Rockin

man you have to welcome trouble and kick it in the nutz!

what about the follow up shot?

what about taking ground and digging

what about rolling under or slipping a shot while taking a side to deliver more.

Pitty-pat and run away. You must be a direct descendand of the Calazaghes or atleast a European.......... Rockin'
yeah Calzaghe was always known for throwing a single shot then getting out of the way...
