Moving forward with 1-2

I saw this some time ago and i cant seem to get how good this guy's footwork is, how does he move so fast forward with his 1-2?

Repetition. If that level of footwork is amazing to you, focus on the fundamentals for a couple of months and you'll surprise yourself.
