        If you worry about that stuff then you might as well stop going to a boxing gym because you will never reach your potential if you have that in your mind.

          No. That's something else. Pugilistic dementia is the same as being punchy. In other words, their speech areas are affected in the cerebral cortex. Parkinson's happens when parts of the cerebellum are damaged and the person gets tremor from crappy dopamine levels (Freddie Roach).

            (thought this thread needed some false bravado)


            All that aside, stick to light sparring until you're more comfortable with it, or want to take it to the next level and you'll be fine. Theres probably a few people at your gym that don't want to go "gunz a'blazin'" get with them for some light sparring.


            (or go the martial arts route.... probably will get you laid)
