Hello everyone i was wondering if any of you guys would be willing to help me out. I want to start boxing not looking to be the next big thing but want to get into the ring but i would like to know what all training exercises that has worked for you guys would be and a good diet program. Im not all that athletic but i do have the heart and determination. I know a lil bit about boxing and everything did some a couple years ago but would actually like to get into it. Any and all comments and replies will be greatly appreciated.

pull ups
sit ups
run,run,run
hit the heavy bag like your depends on it
shadow box every chance you get.people may think you are crazy,lol but i shadow box all day everyday
get a jump rope and make it your best friend
squats,toe raises
and i punch myself alot.just to get used to getting hit
