Marathon training alongside boxing and sparring

I box 5 times a week after work, and I train pretty hard. I'm now looking to do a full marathon sometime in June or July. I don't want to rush it, so I figure giving myself 24 weeks or so to prepare is ample time.

The only issue I have is that marathon training supposedly takes a lot out of you, and going on 20 mile runs can really take its toll on you if you're fatigued already. I don't want to end up injuring myself, and I don't want to half arse boxing or the marathon.

Will I be okay keeping up my normal intensity training and sparring sessions, and training for the marathon on top of that? Can I just think of it as lots of roadwork? In that kind of timeframe I'm potentially looking at a fight or two as well.

I ran my first marathon in oct. I did great but training was brutal. When I ran my first 20 mile training run I thought I was going to die because of the heat. My advise to you is wake up early for your runs to beat the heat, strength train, cross train, yoga is a big must. Good luck!
