    The Heavyweights the Amateur level

Hey guys, just started boxing about a month ago. Currently I am 6'2, 230 lbs with alot of it being muscle. I also have a long reach.

Now my question is, are the heavyweights at the amateur level pretty fit? Or are alot of them very fat and out of shape? The reason I ask is because if I cut enough weight, I will be able to fight at cruiser or light and have a big advantage.

there is no cruiser in the ams'.

cruiser is hw in the ams', super heavy in the am's is above 200.2 pounds.

at 6'2 you better spar everyday to get your defense tight.
