Cleto Reyes, Grants or Winning for sparring?

    Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a new pair of 16oz sparring gloves, money isn't an issue, due to the way shipping is with each of the different brands, they don't work out to be much different....

I'm 6ft, 170lbs and have average sized hands, but more to the slender long size. I'm a boxer-puncher/counterpuncher so I don't need to inflict TOO much damage on my poor sparring partners lol.

Do any of you have any experience with these? I will be using them for padwork too, and the double end bag. OCCASIONALLY for heavy bag, but I used my title gel bag gloves for that mainly...

    Suggestions?

p.s. they need to last a pretty good length of time

    thanks!

I have heard mixed reviews on reyes and grants but nothing but good things about winning. I have there headgear and its the best. I have do not own there gloves but have sparred with people who have then and have tried them on. The winning gloves are very good on your sparring partners. I have sparred with someone who wheres grants and they are not as easy on your sparring partners. Seem to scuff up your face a little more. I always would go for winning for training is you can afford it.

A guy at the gym has grant and winnings and although hes like the winnings the best ,when i tried the grants on they felt the best...the fist you can make in a grant is near perfect ...just wish they wasn't so hard to get here in the sunny UK
