Me, I ran off and joined the Army. (Reserves.) Got my ass in serious shape this past year. Nothing like going through Basic Training at age 39 to give you a sense of what you have to work on. Still sparring at my old gym occasionally. Down to middleweight, just broke 22 minutes on my 5K. I'm going to run a half-marathon this summer.

            HAH, you're one tough mother...

I'm training a LITTLE myself, since I spend most of my time training fighters. I currently train a welterweight, who placed #5 at the AIBA World Championships in 2009 (losing a close quarterfinal to the eventual world champion), is going to the World's this year as well, and we're aiming to qualify for the Olympics. After that, he's gonna turn pro with Team Sauerland (the company that has Mikkel Kessler, Arthur Abraham etc...). I won't be involved with that, since my first love is Olympic boxing, and I already have a bunch of young kids coming up, who are gonna be better than this guy.

I'm also in the squad of coaches around the national team here in Denmark.

I went to Cuba on vacation this summer, and saw a ****load of boxing and training, in conditions you won't believe. Amazing spirit over there!
