They're top quality gloves that should last a long time, but they are pretty firm and can be rough on your sparring partners, and if you have any issues with your hands you may not want to hit the bag hard with them.

Had 14 oz. white ones, not worth it in my opinion.

Then I bought 16 oz. blue Winnings and never looked back.

I agree. I had 14oz. red ones. They were just...meh

Quality leather and construction, stiff before being broken in, padding was not the hardest but not the softest, wide pocket, solid wrist support.

My main gripe was the fit. I like a tight glove and a long cuff, Reyes were just too wide for my liking.

I use a pair of black 16oz now, wouldnt use them for sparring though.

like everyone else said, stiff till broken in, wide hand compartment, great wrist support.

They are holding up really well, they have been used on the heavy bag for about 7 months.

No complaints here, I really like them, way better then my last pair of everlasts, lol.

But that been said I will buy some winnings next

they're among the best gloves out there along with winning & grant. the quality is top notch and they have so many gloves out you can just pick whatever you want, more padding, less padding, more compact, wider gloves etc etc

ive got 5 pairs, some i use on the bag and some for sparring. highly recommend them

I've used a pair of 16oz. Cleto Reyes training gloves for just over two years and they've held up very well. The quality of materials is superb. The leather is thick and sturdy, the stitching is basically flawless (and I'm looking at gloves that are several years old now, stitching is still completely intact...) The consistency of weight in each glove is also good, with one glove weighing 16.04 ounces to the other's 16.11 ounces. I would consider such a small weight variation to be very good for a handmade glove with natural leather materials.

As others have noted, the only drawback of the gloves are the initial stiffness and, most importantly, the fit. These hand compartment of each glove is wide and flat, leaving extra room at each side of the hand, but little to no room between the top of the fist (knuckle area) and the outside padding. When combined with the initial stiffness of the gloves, this can be uncomfortable and disappointing when you first try them on. However, if you allow the gloves time to be broken in, they'll fit very well.

I mainly use these for hitting the heavy bag and focus mitts, since the padding has softened a bit too much after 2+ years to use them for sparring anymore. With that said, they're great gloves and a good value for the price.

I have a pair and theyre top notch. I have a red pair and a black pair, dont use them anymore but theyre still very usable, they only bad thing I can say is that the red pair tthe dye comes off when they get pretty sweaty.

that's what worries me... i always use IMF and winnings (even 12oz) and my partners end up fine. however, i used title training gloves yesterday and i busted him badly. he was bruised as hell. even though i've hurt people with winnings and imf, i never bruise them so much

and i was using title platinum for the first time, not the super cheap ones they sell... the reyes look sick as hell and i ended up buying a pair of them, but i'm not sure if i'll use them for sparring or not

Just a heads up. As a coach I had to stop one of our boxers using them for sparring. He wasn't too happy as he had them imported and they cost a pretty penny. Problem was though, in 2 weeks one sparring opponent suffered a broken nose and another a severe cut to the eye and these type of injuries just don't happen! The proof is in the pudding, I would be irresponsible to let him continue to use them, they turned out to be a very expensive pair of bag gloves!
