I heard a lot of great comments about how good are the kettlebells, a lot of these comments say that the KBs are better than go to the gym, any feed back about this, before I go to the store and buy 2 respectable 35lb KBs.

Kettles are the real deal.
They have them in most gym's I have been too.
You can live without them but I know from experience they are awesome.
great for core, back, and shoulders.
They are favored for the more options one has as far as movement with weight distribution compared to dumb bells.

There is never never "one exercise or equipment" that is better than all others all the time, but kettle bells are a great addition to your workout.
I don't use them so much to build single explosive movements, although you could. I like using a weight that I can do some reps with for muscular and cardiovascular endurance. There's still an explosive component to them within the variety of swings, pulls, and other roational exercises, but you can do them over and over again in consecutive sequences or for time.
When I'm done with a workout, it is a very similar physical feeling to having been in the ring (without getting hit of course) with a combination of endurance and expolsive movements.
