Hi, im looking to go on a boxing trip in the summer of 2011. I was wondering if any of you have been on a similar type of thing and if you could recomend any places. Ive done a fair bit of research and found a cupple of places in thailand which do western boxing which ive contacted and also a gym in Cuba.

i got a reply back from thaifightclub.com which said 1 month training + accomadation fan room per person is 14000 baht for a month. this is seems realy cheap as its only £295 British Pound. Im still looking around tho for a pure western boxing gym as this is what i wana do. But if not this place seems pretty good. they train twice a day 6 days a week which is what im after, just weither or not that is westen boxing training.Comment

Looks nice.. If you want you can also check out rawaimuaythai.com (where i think i might be going).. its in Phuket, for the holiday part. As far as I know theres a trainer there that is good with his hands. Hope I helped, let me know what you thinkComment

Looks like a good gym, seems like they train hard and they got all the accomidation on there website. Looks more geared towards only muay thai tho. thanks for the help tho.Comment

If you are looking for a chance to work out at an iconic boxing gym here are two that does allow the public to work out at for a fee:

Thanks, yea i looked into wildcard, when i added all the costs of accomidation, food and training up i found it would cost me around £1400 including flights. Thats staying at a hostle about 5 minuets walk from the gym.Comment
