Getting up early to go running...

Anyone do the 4am starts? I have been for the last week, get up, go running, usually for about an hour, come back, back in bed for 2 hours then get up and go to work, it's actually quite stimulating belive it or not, run through town and see the goings on.

Once I get up I can't go back to sleep especially if I just ran 3-5 miles. I run 4X a week at 7pm

For me, I usually run at 5:30 AM, and I run 6 kilometers, however, I barely can sleep after that... so I feel tired during my office work

            Nice1 that's a good regime,
I run 5:30-6:30 around 8-10k and then to work, I eat whole grain cereal with blueberries that keeps the energy levels high so don't feel too tired..
I do find running in the morning more refreshing

Nah, pointless. I do my running at night.
