Bad Knee/Leg: Alternate cardio to lose weight?

2 weeks back I developed a "slight" pain in my left leg(not the knee, it used to pain just below the knee) while doing high intensity interval training on my treadmill. I stopped running altogether & the pain isn't much now. The doctor says the area below my left knee has some tenderness & he wrote me a list of 5-6 different medicines which I have to take daily & he also said no running or any other exercises which pressure the knee for 3 months otherwise the pain will start all over again & it'll be chronic n shyt.

I saw some really good results for losing weight doing HIIT & now I'm not supposed to run...are there any other forms of cardio I can take up to lose weight fast? I have no problems walking around etc(I mean my theres no pain, I just wanna play it safe so that the pain doesn't come back again to haunt me for life)

u can try on a trampoline, just jumping to tire urself out if u can find it somewhere. i would suggest jumping rope, but u gotta make sure that your knees can handle that stress.

stair master is easy one the knees and you can get a good workout on it. I do interval training on it if you like that.

Swim, if you can find a pool. Also, you could try running in a pool.

Elliptical, rowing machine, stationary bike, airdyne bike all use your leg muscles, but are low impact for your knee. I was able to do all those when I hurt my knee but I guess it depends exactly what your injury is.

          Swimming is great too.
