Did you just say you run 10 minutes and get tired? Take it to a trail for great results. I do 16 miles a week on a trail here in la. The tread mill does nothing for me.

Tredmills can do something if you put it on a high incline and good speed.

I gurantee you can't do speed 20 (Kilometres per hour or 13 miles per hour) on incline for longer than 10 mins.

Heck I run both and Tredmills can be a killer on calves if you put it hard enough. None of this bull**** slow speed for 10 mins. I'm talking long runs.

Yes roadwork and stuff is harder I agree, but tredmils work your heart and calves great.

As for trails, never done it before but I have climbed up a small mountain like 5 miles and it was tough kind of.

I also jog 15-20 miles every week or 2 and smaller runs in between. The best way to exercise is rest muscles and do alternative, then come abck etc...

Oh and don't mock what someone can or can't do. Atleast he is trying.

People are different.I can do 4-6 miles on the road but struggle to do 0.6 miles on the treadmill. On the road I hardly have shin splints but on the treadmill it's usually often

              Are you heavy footed bro?

If you run softly on your toes/front of foot, that gets fixed, but it burns your calves.

Tredmils mvoe and help you run, but it is also bad sometimes because it's forcing to to move with it's momentum, which your body isn't adjusted to naturally.

Treadmiils are good especially for beginners or even long runners .I had one worth 800 quid .At first I struggled with 1.5 miles then after putting it a we bit slower I was up to 10 miles in no time .It got me ripped .Now but I don't think it'd be as good especially for boxing .1 percent or even 0.5 incline equivs it to the road so I wouldn't worry to much .You could also do intervals with incline which would equiv to hill sprints .Thing is tho one thing i've learned is you can get as good a workout in 1.5 miler to 2 miler as a long run with enough effort .Just dig dig dig out blind from the word go .I'm not built for speed man but just now I can do 2600 metres in 10 mins pretty easy enough .Shouldn't be far off 1.5 in 9.30 now .That would probably be a ball burster tho but it's a good time for boxing training .
