Man regular fights tend to be unco-ordinated brawls, primarily because you're drinking at the time. If you do find yourself in the unfortunate situation whereby you need to fight in the street or a club just tear in and pump your arms, avoid what you can and be sure you're the one on top when you first go to ground (for obvious reasons).

chea all right. i feel like he never fought outside, why would he ask such a dumb question. "how you fight in the fight" 1-1-2 , 2-3-4 whatever.

just like i said, he shouldn think of fight, hit first etc. but it's ok.. looks like we have couple warriors here, he can listen for oyu gys and footwork, grapple, 1-1-2 and bull like that.

on other hand, let's imagine he will listen to all this and do this in the fight, how funny will he look. if he never trained before, i'd like to record that.

      1-1-2, GnP, etc

Yeah you always want to hit first that way you know that regardless of what happens in the fight your the one that gets charged with assault, arrested, spends the night in jail, and has to pay the fines and court costs...

You rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 as the old sayin goes but na he's right tho..if the situation gets heated u gotta hit first ..every martial art instructor or someone who teaches realistic self defense will tell you that.

That's why wing tsun kung fu focuses a lot on pre fight training, how to keep ur hands up in the manner that bystanders see that ur not the one who started the fight bla bla..but that's if he's at a safe distance..if he comes to ur face then u gotta do what u gotta do.

hey, I'd rather stay in jail a night or two, but I have a better chance saving my teeth. peeps who live in US or Europe, you guys funny. my health stays on top of every mother****er who I dont care at all about.

I fought once in US and I hit the guiy first. guess what happened, I told the cops that he hit me first and since I train most part of my life he missed me and I counter-punched him. like i said, I put my health on top of everything else.. and if you just use little bit of brains everything will be allright.

and please don't write something dumb again, unless you have reasonable statesment.

one more thing, may be you weigh 100kgs+, then you can play and wait till you get hit first, but even then I consider this as a ******ity.

now imagine if a guy is 55-65kgs (130-155lbs) he has to hit as hard as he can right in the chin, and hopefully this guy can knock out his opponent. other than that, low weights shouldnt wait at all or this can end other way.

wing chun is about not throwing useless punches most wing chun students will wait for an attack then block/attack at the same time ensuring the attack is not wasted, they will almost never initiate the attack.

as you said he hit you first. attempting to hit you is the same as hitting you in the court, even something like pushing could be considered the first hit.

you dont actually have to be hit to not be the first person to hit, in a street fight almost all the time its better to be the first person to block or dodge then to be the first to hit.

if anything low weights should be quick and fast, able to keep distance and dodge easier. the low weight should be looking for the counter then backing up not rushing in and really pissing off a guy that might not have even been looking for a fight up until you tickled his cheek.

Robert I just can't understand you. You write just like some professional guy fights in the street. dodge, rush.. . come on man.., Not only me but all of my friends, even those that don't train at all, never wait for some1 to smash our skull). I honestly think you never was in the fight and get hit Straight in the face. you said a push should consider a punch? man i dont know how you guys fight there, but here I promise if you wait and get hit First most of the times it's over for you. also you expect that the guy can either push/wide hit etc you and you can see that punch coming, get ready, dodge it etc. Once again may be in Europe or USA that could be done. I tell you, not only me.. but all the people I know. when we see its going to be a fight, no1 even shows that, hit right away and if the guy not ko'ed go and brawl, stick fingers in his nose, pull lips, damn i dont know what to tell you.. jsut finish the fight. I mean why even show any action that you going to fight him. I believe different countries, diff. actions.

i've been hit once in my life straight to the teeth when i was a kid, also I hate visits to dantists. may be thats why I prefer my health on top of everything and go for the win before any1 can touch my face

unsolicited contact can be considered the same as assault. soo yes a push could be considered the same as the first hit.

and an intelligent fighter dosnt get in some ones face or let some one get in their face an intelligent fighter keeps distance.

Ive been in a few fights, never hit any one and never been hit (in street fights) even a few fights where im having a conversation with the guy and he just comes swinging out of nowhere, as i dont let people in my face i had more then enough time to react. all you need to do is keep your distance and block what comes at you till the other guy gets tired and his forearms are in pain. anger is quick to subside when non violence faces violence, and you might even earn some respect from some one who wanted to beat the crap out of you just 2 mins ago.

though im a strict pacifist and would never hurt any one out of anger so thus my way to deal with violence is diffrent then most.

just give them jab and straight.
in street fighting, hook can be block easily rather than 1-2 jab straight
