Is it possible to have a muscular physique but still have a lot of stamina?

I'm looking to bulk up, but I dont want to lose stamina, i want to gain it.

    any tips for this?

I mean Holyfield was built but always had 15 round stamina.

Probably possible in theory, but I would never want to have a muscular physique that could slow me down and hurt my stamina. There's no real benefit to having visible muscles.

Pascal was looking pretty muscular on saturday night. Depends if you need to make weight, if not then yes it is possible. Have you seen that pic of Haye with the slegehammer? Check it.

Toney manages to have stamina for 12 rounds even with muscle and fatness. If he can do it, you can do it.

Physique usually doesn't have a huge bearing on stamina. Obviously you aren't going to have a fit guy who looks like butterbean, but often the fittest fighters aren't hugely bulked up and ripped.

Evander tended to struggle with the distance at times. Haye has terrible stamina, he seems gassed nearly all the time in his fights after a burst.

Ofcourse. Your stamina is based on your lung function and muscle cell storage(just check out any biology book)

Both functions are highly trainable, your muscularity, especially aesthetics is more based on low body fat then high muscle weight count. It just means that if you want to be muscular and have high stamina you will have to train for both.

I like using gymnasts as an example of both musculinity and very high stamina.

lol Holyfield had a very advanced training program.. check it out, i found it somewhere else here a long time ago

that's some crazy stuff man, planned out to the t.

that's what every boxer goes for right: that mix between stamina and power.

If u look at Floyd, he's very lean but he most probably has the power necessary and also the stamina necessary to fight hard 12 rounds.. he just chooses not to.
