    idk man muscle soreman only happens to me when I exercise a group of muscles I haven't exercised in a while. When I'm exercising them consistently-- it doesn't really get sore anymore?

      Its basically lactic acid thats all stuck in your muscles and yeah it jabs like hell.

      Stay hydrated (sipping water when thirsty having a bath), warm up and warm down properly, give the muscles a good stretch, eat plenty of fruits and veg and get some protein to rebuild and repair one hour after workout.

      You'll be sweet and like mushahadeen says. It'll stop happenning if you work those muscles regular.
