Depends on how hard you're willing to cycle, and what gear you set yourself on.
So... yeah! It is a good way of losing weight, if you work hard enough!

cycling is awesome its alot less impact so you can do it alot more often and for longer periods of time.
so like as you do stuff you burn calories and fat and what % of each depending on your heart rate.
with something like running or jogging your going to be burning alot more calories then fat with a higher heart rate then with biking at a relaxed rate burning more fat and less calories. which just mean your going to be alot less hungry with biking as well.
