there is a huge difference between 30 and 35, so 30 is an absurd number to keep somebody from fighting. those are usually your prime years. once you turn 36, 37, thats when your body starts to break down a little and thats when you should stop fighting at the amateur level. but 30-35 are your prime years. thats when you combine all your skills and everything and your body is still fresh and youre still in great shape

Do it, if you don't you'll only regret it when you're older, there's nothing wrong with training if you have some injuries in the past. I have dislocated my right shoulder many times before, and my left knee is filled with muscles that arent mine. My friend just started getting amature matches last year and hes 39, (although hes been studying sports medecine for years and he's in better shape than most of my 20 year old friends.) Point in short, you don't want to be one of those middle aged, balding, overweight guys sitting at a desk all day hating your life, (you're a lawyer, it will happen sooner or later no offense.) just go out and have fun with it, enjoy the years you have left.
