    Cant sprint for ****!

I always used to jog two or three times a week for almost an hour but lately ive decided to sprint instead after hearing it would benefit me more for boxing then simply jogging normal pace, but i can barely hold it for more then 30 seconds.
I sprint then rest standing or while walking for a minute then sprint again but each time my legs feels more jelly. How do u sprint?
Is a minute rest between 30 seconds sprinting a laugh or am i performing normally for a beginner?

30 seconds of sprinting is a hell of a lot. Especially if you're just starting.

Start with 50 yards sprinting, then jog back to the start point (there's your rest) and sprint again as soon as you get there. Keep that up for 10-20 minutes straight, the only rest is when you jog back to the start. If you really start getting tired, switch to walking back to the start.

Yea 30 seconds is wayyyy too much to sprint, especially for beginning. Employ a tactic to begin with much like ScottyDBA suggests, and make sure to have rest days between doing them, and inside of 2-3 weeks I would be willing to wager you will see a vast improvement.

Then consider adding time to the sprint, or shortening the rest periods, or increasing repetitions...all sorts of things. But yea man, cliche, I know, but walk before you run kinda works in this deal.
