Obviously without moderation peanut butter would be bad. But what about peanut butter in a boxers diet if its kept at a moderate level? It seems to me like a tastey and good way to get protein. Any help would be good

Nothing is terrible in moderation, but peanut butter is actually a pretty low source of protein because of the total amount of fat (although can be healthy fat for natural peanut butter) typically accounting for under 20% of the total calories per serving.

Its good stuff, take it just make sure you know what you're taking in and what weight you want to maintain if you plan on eating a lot of it.

i know its high in fat but mens health treats it like the promise food.
was even in "foods you can't have enough of" but that is for good health, not good training/boxing.

i eat it with g****-nuts or some other kind of cereal before my workouts. Sometimes I eat Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with whole wheat bread, but then again, I'm not trying to lose weight. My biggest problem is eating enough calories throughout the day.
