Just got my new rival gloves!!!

    i ordered. 2 pairs of gloves n a mouthpiece from rivalboxing.com

    these guys make QUALITY gloves

    i am so impressed

i got a pair of 14 ounce ultra bag gloves. and they are absolutely outstanding, the knuckle padding it the best i have ever seen and felt.. and the wrist lock and support is incredible.

i also bought a pair of traditional 16 ounce sparring gloves... they are also very well made. and these arent even the most expensive sparring gloves this website offers... these are great gloves as well. so comfortable, and they feel like a weapon being loaded on your arm and hand. very snug fit

    these gloves are AMAZING

and for both pairs it was just under 180 Canadian.. well worth it

highly recomennd these products. rival makes great gloves n headgears

They just seem to try too hard to be trendy. Plus that tribal design is kinda lame to me

Who cares what they look like if they are high quality?

I've got Rival headgear, bag gloves, sparring gloves and they're all great.

I also have a pair of their handwraps and the velcro wore out faster than other brands and the label is falling off. That's my only complaint with them and that's minor.

yea the symbol is kinda gay, but when u put ur hand in a pair of their gloves u really wont care about a symbol
they are such good protection. my hands get hurt easily, so these r needed..

and with the high quality gear, at such a low price. it is a great place to buy gear.
rival competes with the gear from grant / everlast / winning, and its a lottt cheaper too

i've had everlast, rival, title, fighting, title platinum, winning, and shevlin

sorry to tell you, but rival doesn't compete with winning in any way. it's not even close man

i got their elite bag gloves (their best ones) and they're superior to title and fighting, but inferior to the everlast protex2 line by a bit. the protex3 are on another level in terms of fit and protection, and the winning are even further above

i agree with you on the value they pack for the relatively inexpensive price tag. it's unfair to compare the to winning though, as they're are 3 times cheaper.

still, they're great, great gloves for the price

maybe the ultras are good, but the mid range sb3 or/we they are, are in shambles after less than a year.

              agree

rival has good prices though, but they aren't on the level of those brands mentioned. I have the normal ever last pro's in 16, even those are a far superior glove. The protex 2's are good as well.

hmm. well i guess i shouldnt judge i never owned a winning /grant piece...

does winning and grant last long tho ??
ive owned rival ultra bag gloves before, they lasted me like over a year before even getting any bit flat... they were solid. this new pair will last me. for 80 bucks its worth the 12-18 months

                  but i agree with yall..
i think its the more u pay the better quality the goods will be... thats how it goes..

its jus rival really impressed me with the prices i payed..
they blow everlast / ringside / title outta the water

sure everlast has protex, but thats it, before that gloves everlast was balls for gloves

I have a pair of 14 oz ultra bag gloves and i pair of 16 oz sparring gloves by rival and i still love the sparring gloves. I used to really like the bag gloves but for some reason i injured myself using them, they lasted me a year without any problem but at the beginning of the summer i hurt my right wrist and i was off training for the whole summer.

I thought it was just a bad luck injury and it had nothing to do with the gloves but when i started training again i used another pair of bag gloves and everything was fine. Then i tried to hit the bag with the rival gloves again and the pain came back with the first right hook i landed.

So i don't think i will use them anymore as i don't hurt myself using some not so good ATF gloves but as soon as i land my right with the rivals the pain comes back.

I will probably end up buying a new pair of bag gloves soon, it's a split between the rival rb20 and the everlast protex 3, the rb20 ar 80$ while the protex 3 are 200, but honestly i think i will probably get the protex, i heard great things about them and i don't want to injure myself again.
