    Vicious hunger!

    Hey so I dropped 39 lbs from June 12th to November the 5th, and between this time I ate following a very strict low fat/saturated fat/sugar/sodium diet that was plenty high in carbs. I never had any issues in regards to controlling what I ate; I hardly ever even felt tempted to eat outside my diet. However, in the past month or month and a half or so, I've found that my hunger has increased exponentially, and that it actually hurts quite a lot to eat as I used to. In other words, the amount I used to eat can't sustain me anymore. I think this may be related to body fat percentage, as I believe I'm nearing the 8% mark now, however I'm not sure as to that. Just wondering if anyone on here has any thoughts or similar experiences? I went from 174 lbs to 135 lbs, height 5'4 1/2. I used an online formula for calculating body fat %, it took my weight and waist size and such and calculated 124 lbs lean body weight, which left me with about 10 lbs of fat (8% body fat percentage).

    g**** on the weight loss. your metabolism is through the roof since a month in a half ago. your at the point where your metabo is super high and your burning a lot more cals on a daily basis. im assuming you eat every 4 hours or so or 3 big meals. split those meals up into 6 meals every 3 hours and you should do fine. eating when your hungry puts your body into a starvation mode so you retain weight. if you eat 6 smaller meals every 3 hours youll never feel hungry because you dont wait till your hungry to eat. goodluck

        Haha, no.

        Even if I stopped working out twice a day, every day, and began to eat arbitrarily again, my roaring metabolism and muscle mass would make that an impossibility.

          not true actually unless your genetic permit it but regardless. you would probably die of a heart attack or something lol. like i said if you split whatever you intake in 1 day into 6 equal meals you will more then likely stay full and if anything you would probably intake less food keeping your weight down.

                we're both mammals. hibernation or not the body does naturally want to put on fat during the cold months.
