Just listen to your trainer. Do what he tells you to do.
First fight....stick to the basics. Don't get over anxious or try doing anything crazy or fancy. Use your jab and stick to the basics.
I remember my first fight, I was boxing real good and feeling real sharp in sparring. Then when the fight started I just went after the kid like he stole something lol. I won the fight but man I was exhausted and completely abandoned my game plan. The whole fights a blur, and I don't even remember it lol. I just remember throwing a bunch of punches as hard as I possibly could.
So my advice is to try and stay calm, and stick to the basics.
Good luck man. First fights the hardest one.

Other kid is just as nervous as you, so just relax, keep your hands up and in tight, throw short straight punches and pace yourself
If he charges at you just stand your ground and cover up, take his shots on your gloves and then fire back with short straight shots down the middle.
Good luck

Honestly, there is probably nothing you can do to prepare for your first few fights other then being in shape. You can train all you want and learn all the technique you want. You can have a plan to go in, jab, move around, and work combos. But fact of the matter is, your first few fights you have no experience. I dont care if you been fighting your whole life. The second you get in that ring, hear the crowd, see your opponent... Then that bell rings, and you get punched.. All boxing goes out the window, and it is a slug fest.
The best thing you can do is try to keep as much composure as you can, and keep talking to yourself to remind yourself you are BOXING, not fighting.
Goodluck!
