Hell yes... A few months ago, i was doing some training in Tel Aviv (Israel) improving my krav **** skills. For the first few weeks we did no combat techniques at all, it was all runnning, climbing, assault courses, etc. It was designed to give us that kill or be killed edge. After 3 weeks we then began to train in combat. An incredibly hard, but very rewarding experience.

basically what high altitude training does is that it gives you a higher red blood cell count in your body. red blood cells deliver oxygen to the muscles. the higher the red blood cell count, the more oxygen your muscles can get, so you will attain a higher level of endurance. basically you'll be able to work harder, get less tired, for longer periods of time after working out in high altitudes and attaining a higher red blood cell count. hope this helps answer your question...

Not only in boxing, Denver Broncos hold a huge advantage when playing at mile high. Ppl who train in high altitude never get winded when they fight at sea level, Mexicans do that a lot.
