He does seem to be very powerfully built for his weight but I wouldn't venture that his arm length is very long. From the top of the rep to his chest seems about nine or ten inches at most, whereas for me (a 74 Kg guy) a full rep travels much more than that as I have quite a long reach. Granted though, I couldn't handle 140Kg anything like your friend and dont know any guys around my size and weight who can.

His form is far from perfect, but most 79Kg guys wouldn't handle 140Kg without their arms shaking or giving way, so his strength is very impressive. Also sincere respect for your friend allowing himself to be filmed and posted on the net.............that takes guts! I challenged another guy about six months ago on this forum to prove his claimed bench press weight, but he wussed out!
Great post mate ...he is not very tall and he is just 79kg... ...i will ask him to next time jump on the scales in the gym and video it!
And all the rest of you swimmers can suck my ****s

Im just making a small reply here, i dont know if anyone has sayed this, but the reason these guys bench this much is because they bench like powerlifters.

Arched back, wide grip and forcing your elbows to you body.
It has nothing to do with building muscle its a technique for juste benching more.

must admit i'm astounded he's only 79kg he must be really small, but very impressive all the same nothing wrong with the form to me,i'm about 87kg and the heaviest maximun 1 rep bench i can do is 120kg usually start off with 12 reps at 60kg then 8-9 at 100kg then 3-4 110kg then just the 1 at 120 then i work my way back down again very happy with my chest size and if i can eventually get to where your mate is at then great but it will be a few years yet but if not well as i say i'm happy not in it to have the biggest chest anyway just a hobby for me,but huge respect to your mate there.

LOL. There are rarely any people in a gym that can even do a proper set. Bench Press is a very popular exercise, yet nobody knows how to ****ing do it.

Of course this is always what it comes down to right? This isn't even you in this video...stop parading around posting your butt buddies videos saying his technique is perfect when you aren't even the one pushing the weight.

                You're an idiot.
not exactly true my friend...ronnie coleman record 8 time mr olympia, often employs partial reps and i wouldnt say he doesnt know what he's doing!
