    Workouts for increasing quickness and speed?

    What workouts can i do that will help me increase my quickness and speed outside of the usual mitwork, bagwork, sparring, and shadowboxing?

    I'm already shadowboxing with 2lb. dumbells to add a little resistance, anyone know any other kind of workouts i can do to increase my speed and quickness?

    Trunk twists where you just stand their with out weights and turn your upper body back and forth would probably be good id say somethign like 20 or so where each individual movement is as fast as you can go like really put your elbows and back into it, then say like 40 or 50 where its just about fluid speed going back and forth as quickly as possiable not just about turning your body one way as quickly as possiable after that i would say about 2 sets of 15-20 with like an 8 lb or so medcine ball held out infront of you at shoulder level. then with out weight just repeat the 40 or 50 thats about fluid motion and the 20 thats about the speed of each rotation.

    of course everybody is diffrent so how many and how you do them is up to you to try out main thing is its very important to go from no weights to weights to no weights if your doing something that you would normally do with out weights and your trying to do it faster when your doing it with out weights. by doing it with out weights your improving your top speed and doing it with weights is improving how quickly you can reach your top speed.

    so even something like incorporating 2 normal rounds of shadow boxing before and after you shadow box with weights would be helpful for improving speed

      You definitely should listen to Ylem. He really knows what he's talking about as demonstrated here in his video. He must work on these "Trunk Twists" daily, based on how explosive his punching power is...:wank:

        I see they were able to successfully remove your hand from your a** and your head from your moms a**. i was so upset when she told me not to come over last night.

          Soo how oftenly do you duct tape your c**k between your a** cheeks and rub up against the wall? perhaps not enough cuz im thinkin you should go f**k your self again.
