    Saving Dumb Dumb From CTE

I have a friend who is ambitious about a very dangerous sport, and he’s not listening to any advice I give him. He has never taken a boxing class or been under a coach, but he hard spars with people at the gym with no experience. I’m trying to save him from severe brain injuries. He even asked me to be his ‘boxing coach,’ and I told him I’m not a boxer nor a coach. You need to find those at a dedicated boxing gym, but he won’t listen. How can I save this idiot from getting wrecked?

It's tough when someone you care about doesn't listen to your advice, especially when it comes to their safety. While you can offer guidance and express your concerns, ultimately, your friend has to make their own decisions. Keep reinforcing the importance of proper training and seeking professional help, but also be prepared to respect their choices, even if you disagree with them. It's a delicate balance between caring for your friend and respecting their autonomy.
