Yeah, shadowbox like crazy. Get use to missing, it is going to happen a lot. Make sure you keep busy while you shadowbox and treat it like a fight.

I wouldnt exactly agree with the whole "get used to missing, its going to happen a lot"
Yeah it will happen a lot, if you have no accuracy and you just go in flailing all the punches you've learnt.
But i prefer to punch and hit, not punch and miss.

But still, shadow boxing is good, perfects technique and helps your body flow properly with each punch.

shadowboxing with weights is good for conditioning your shoulders. resistance bands are even better, they force u to throw more straight punches. eighter way just make sure u throw lots of jabs with em, double and triple up over and over. punch out drills are good too.

something i do, that many fighters do, and in my opinion all fighters should.. is skip rope without rest. most ppl use round timers when they skip. when im in fighting shape i just go 15-20min straight. when u can be on your toes like that for 15min you will have no problem moving around teh ring for 3 rounds. just make sure u start out easy, go 5min, then 10, then 15. if u try too much at once u wont be able to make it thru without breaks or pacing yourself.

run. sprints rather than long distance but i personally like to mix it up and run long distance one or twice a week.

relaxing once in the ring. if u get tight i u will tire out quickly no matter how good shape your in. spar alot and u will get more comftorable and loosen up.

btw i think everyone went thru the same stuff u are when they first started, i know i did.
