Best Workout Routine for Amateur Boxers

I've been boxing for several years in different gyms under different coaches. Most training approaches were similar, some were not.
Some say: Don't lift, lots of running, no running just heavy bag ...

I would like find a modern, scientifically proven workout routine. Does anybody know any sources (books, articles etc.)?
    • What kind of cardio?
    • What kind of (box specific) exercises?
    • (Heavy) lifting?
    • BWE?
    • etc.
Some modern approaches from Pros or Olympia fighters or their coaches would be great. I'm not interested in old school methods.

    Thanks in advance!

Are you training at a gym now? Training at home? Training with a coach?

Everything is still closed, so I'm training alone at home right now. I have some equipment (weights etc.) and a park to run.
But even after the gyms open again, I would like to continue training by a professional plan. In the gym I will do what the coach tells me (2-3x / week), additionally I will have my own routine at home.

It really depends on what weight class you in and what your fight strategies are.

What ever it is that you're working on do it as a professional would. Just because you are an amateur doesn't mean that you can not train like a professional. Condition the mind and the body will follow. ...............Rockin'

You'll be doing just enough to get yourself killed then. Don't do anything at home boxing related. You'll just engrain horrible habits into your foundation that'll be harder and harder to get rid of.
