Well being you are already on a calorie defecit diet, i'd go with light jogging or swimming. It's low impact and unlike Sprinting or Skipping won't completely drain you and wear you out.

Im taking up skipping now. I dont like to hear its bad for my joints as they feel bad already.

But i keep thinking people dont skip nowadays. Its just something people used to believe in, but not now. But of course im wrong i think.

i skip during all my intervals whether it be running or jogging - at least nine rounds a day. combined you'll torch calories.

do you think it is ok to use this mat as a skipping mat to protect my knees and shins and ankles?

I dont think it is specifically designed for it, but what does everyone think?

IMO its not skipping or running. It's a matter of how intense and efficient you are at the movement. Most people would prefer running however since they've probbably did it most in their life.
