    Running in sand!

Me and a pro fighter, heres his boxrec, nothing special but a very tough dude who works hard and loves boxing, oh yea and he's a former world champion kickboxer, just ran 5 miles around the beach in the south end of my city.

For one its like 95 degrees over here and for two....running in the sand is hard as hell lol. I've never run in the sand before. I was exhausted lmao but I wouldn't slow down because I didn't want this dude to know that I was tired. Run in the sand if you want a good workout! Or at least this sand because every step your foot sinks a couple of inches. Of course the whole run wasn't in the sand there was some asphalt but the majority was in sand. Then when we got back to the gym we had to do plyometrics!

I'm fighting in a big tournament in mid-September so I'm just working on getting into ridiculous shape.

      Thanks buddy, appreciate it.

All I know is that if I lose...it will be because I lost to a better fighter or I got robbed, condition shouldn't be a problem at all.

It's 4 tournaments all together. You win one, you advance to the next, and so on. You get a championship belt and become a member of the traveling team if you win.

yes that's a perfect mindset, you can just learn more when you lose and if you win you are the man

That's good stuff! I used to do my squats at the beach, it makes use thigh muscles, calves, and glutes in way that flat surfaces can't emulate. In Airborne school...you're running on sand, gravel, with your combat boots!

The best to you in the tournament!

I can't even imagine running in the sand with combat boots on lol. I would probably try it though cause I'm sick lol. I got tons of respect for everyone involved in the army, navy, marines, air force, all that stuff.

And thanks, I think I'm going to do well in the tournament.
