Reach question!!!

The gym i am sparing at has few members and the guy (only guy available) i am sparing has a 2inch longer reach than me.

My question ...

Is two inches longer reach such a big deal?

First time in the ring with him i got jabbed to death. But put that down to 1st spar nerves more than anything.

Height wise we are both 6ft.

I had a pro bout where the cat had an 81 or 83 inch reach, my reach is 69. Its not how long his arms are that counts, it how bad do you actually want it and do you have the heart to go in there and get it...............Rockin'
