I came back to the gym after a long layoff. I need advice, please

I don't know how to say it good in english, but i'm gonna try it.

Ok, so i have like 1 year training at home where i just would shadowboxing, rope, run, and thinks like that, but today i went to the gym after a long layoff (3 years) and i could do well when shadowboxing, but when i was hitting the bag... i don't even know how to explain it, i just felt like ****, i couldn't hit the bag properly and not only because i was tired as hell but i just felt so weird (like i said, i don't even know to explain it).

Has anyone experienced something like that?
Do you think after some weeks of training i will not feel like that and i will get in "rhythm"?

I feel so bad right now about it, and i just want somebody to tell me something about it.

I know my english be bad, sorry about that. and Thanks for reading.

Just keep at it and you should be back to what you were in no time. Big thing is to not get discouraged and stop going to the gym after the first few ****ty sessions. Good luck.

get your loungs back and don't work the bag too long after you've tired out because you don't wanna get bad technique and habits.

even if you're tired focus on keeping your punches crisp without wasted motion and that you are using your body correctly to give the power to your punches.

''Perfect practice becomes perfect''. Watch how others hit the bag and ask for advice and work from there. You don't want to continue doing the wrong thing as that's a waste of time but at the sametime you have to put in a lot of time to feel comfortable.
