Title has the worst customer service I've ever encountered while ordering something on the web.

I've ordered something from there on three separate occasions.

The first time, the product was back ordered and I had to wait a couple of extra weeks. Fine, no problem. When it finally came, I got a completely different color.

The second time I ordered, they sent me something that was obviously already returned. The product was damaged. Not from shipping, but from it being used. The box it came in was ripped all over and re taped all over. Why someone from Title would ship me something in that condition thinking it would be all good, I have no idea. They must not like their job, they don't give a ****, or Title as a whole doesn't give a **** and that's how they do their business.

The third time, and I don't even know why I ordered from them a third time, The product was back ordered again, and when it did come, they sent it to my house in San Jose when I wasn't living there anymore and it was another returned item. I don't even think the item was even back ordered. They were probably waiting for someone to return their ****. They used an address from the previous orders when I used a current updated cc with my new Jersey City address.

No real reason for me to order anything from Title anymore, unless I want some Everlast, Lonsdale or some knock off Reyes and Winning gloves. Even if I did want some Everlast gloves, which I don't. Ringside now distributes them along with Lonsdale. I can just go to Ringside where I know I am valued as a customer.

I apologize about the past experiences you have had with our company. We have since updated our sites linking capabilities with our inventory system so the backorder issues should be minimal.

I also sincerely apologize that you received used or returned gear. There is obviously no reason why this should have happened and is simply negligence from our warehouse staff.

I greatly appreciate your feedback whether it is good or bad. Situations like this are usually not brought to my attention, however I want to make sure our customers are satisfied before, during and after the sale.

I recently had this happen (about 2 weeks ago) with some headgear, that was back ordered, then showed up early, I looked at it, (it appeared at first like it was newish) but had some dudes name written on all the tags, and the chin strap had become detached from the stitching, I called customer support and they were quite helpful, so other than the inconvience, i'm not really that bitter. Although I think the stitching on alot of the products could use improvement, but you can't beat the quality to price ratio on alot of the products.

I really don't like ordering from Title because i always feel its a guessing game to what they have in stock. Multiple times they sent me email saying this is backordered. Is the stock really reflecting your live stock like you just said now?? You guys do have better prices than ringside on some stuff and ringside new site is having so many problems. It would be nice if you guys could get grant and cletos. Also maybe offer free stuff with orders like ringside hats,keychains, banners..

Did the customer service rep get you taken care of? I just spoke with our returns manager regarding this situation and he mentioned that we do resell returned equipment if it is in "like new" condition when we receive it back. Names written on tags, loose stitching, etc obviously does not constitute a "new" item which he did apologize for as it must have been missed.

That's correct. We have been working on our live site which obviously takes quite awhile to setup. Nearly all the items are reflecting the correct inventory status (in stock or not) however there are still some items that may be incorrect. Our web team takes top priority in updating the inventory status on all products, however there is the chance that some items may be missed.

We actually used to carry Grant products several years ago but no longer stock them for a variety of reasons. I will however, forward the requests from this thread to the appropriate people.

Yes carrying grant would be nice but ringside already does so. Maybe a new grant product if their company is still in the lines of designing some new stuff. Also some of the cases that you see here are far more common around the net. I have seen numerous "never order from titleboxing" threads. The new stock system is a great idea but i feel some of the damage has already been done. Its not as simple as buying things from a store, and just because the 2-5 day shipping times mishaps are much more frustrating. Especially if they reoccur.

Fortunatly i have never had a stock issue with any of my orders. I have however had item quality issues. The title gels i ordered i do not use anymore after only a few uses, i think that product should be completely redesigned. At first i like the glove but i got to try some others and stopped using these. Now i have used almost every glove on the market and have to say these are low grade. The glove is way too compact and the cut seems to be stubby. Also the weight is alot greater and the padding is incredibly firm. The foam used in these is terrible in my opinion. Firm and unusual, doesnt do what foam should. The cuff also doesnt offer any padding, support or lace grooves for getting them tight.

My second purchase were the Nike Machomais, Very good shoe but the sole would seperate from the shoe itself. Nike did a terrible job designing these. Mine split after one day of use, i exchanged them for another pair and that pair did the same thing. You guys did not offer any other interesting products in that price range so i just slopped shoe goo on them. You might want to look into that product because they are quite flimsy and lasting only one day is not acceptable. Its sad that i myself must apply more glue to them just to last longer then a day but the range of products forced me to do so. Hopefully nike is designing something alittle more appealing and durable but thats unlikely.

yoo... i gotta say... i got those figthin bag gloves and i love them... they were kinda expenisive but no biggie am rich!!!!!!!!! LOLjk... i aint the 1 with winnin equipment LOL.... i get compliments about the glove lol people seem to love the style on them... just like winnin

I've ordered twice from Title and have been decently pleased with the products and the service. Here's the items I've ordered:

- Title Classic Hook and Loop Training Gloves (16oz)
- Rival Ultra Bag Gloves (12oz)
- Title Gel Body Protector

I also ordered a pair of punch-mitts but soon learned they had been back ordered. I went ahead and canceled those because I did not want to wait 3 months for them. It would be better as mentioned above if the site was kept up with the inventory in stock.

Here is a review I wrote for the Title Classic Training Gloves

Title Classic Hook-and-Loop Training gloves are what I would call an “average?product. They do offer decent protection to the hand and are quite durable but they have a few problems. One of the problems is that they are quite stiff and despite using them for over a year, I don’t feel like they have that “broken-in?feel. Also, the gloves have pretty hard padding in them. This is a problem when you’re sparring, I don’t want to hurt my sparring partners with hard gloves. Last but not least, they’re bulky. I have them in the 16oz size. Obviously 16oz gloves will be a little bulky, but these gloves feel heavier and more awkward than other 16oz gloves I’ve used like Ringside. I don’t recommend these gloves even if you’re on a budget. Save your money and get a better glove.
