    any idea what's goin on?
took 1 day off, went back to training did a couple one arm pushups, next day had a sore right bicep, i figured i musta hurt myself whilst doin the one arm pushup and decide to train anyway because the bicep really was'nt that bad, no big training just cardio with half assed effort(no pushups or nothin), next day sore all over my t****zius(that's the back neck muscle that connects your head to your shoulders) and my left deltoid are now killin me

    some wierd ****

Its natural. Thats just what happens when you lift weights or do something strenuous. Your muscle fibers tear apart and then rebuild themselves to the needs of your activities.

So.... muscles + anaerobic exercise = tearing muscles.

just take a break from lifting and your body will heal itself. how long depends on how much you worked your muscles.

Not necessarily lifting weights but any exercise that builds muscle.

1 arm push ups is a physically taxing exercise. Your muscles had a lot of strain on them. So your brain told your muscles to break down and rebuild. So they are going through the process of rebuilding right now.

lol, so yeah, you probably didn't take enough time off from training.

A good 100% protein shake should do it for you. Since your muscles need protein to build and recover.

take some amino acids, they'll help you heal faster. thats the problem when you go all out and dont keep in mind technique, careful when you exercise.

No need man, just make sure you eat the right stuff.

I used to get sore pretty much everyday when i started boxing, but back then i just ate anything, i didn't take any time to balance my diet. Fast food, soda, not much fruits and vegetable sometimes i'd just skip meals. I was sore but i trained everyday, luckily i didn't get injured.

You want to eat lots of proteins, lean meats(Chicken, fish(I just buy canned tuna), ect), eggs, nuts. Fruits and veggies are great too.

Protein shakes can do the job too but i prefer just eating well.

Been eating well for 3-4 years, honestly i'm practially never sore, and i train 6 days a week, 2-4 hours a day.
