I havent used them but I have used the knock-off Title version which is about half the price. Even though I feel like they screwed up my particular pair of knockoffs, I cant imagine paying 140-150 bucks for a pair of barbaric Mexican style gloves. However, these gloves are very hard hitting and satisfying. They have a good reputation. If you have wrist or hand problems I would not get them though.

For the record, I want to say good luck finding an honest opinion on gloves over 70 dollars. Most people will praise whatever their most expensive pair of gloves is because they dont want to feel ripped off. I'm not like that but a lot of people are.

I bought a pair of the ringside cleto reyes gloves in 16 oz, they are a very snug comfy tight on your hand fit, the padding is pretty hard and stiff it's a very compact glove pretty good wrist support..

I had to send my pair back because I felt like id mark up someone in sparring real bad, a very good punchers glove great for bag work and the mitts.. I wouldn't recommend them for sparring though unless you hate your sparring partners..

Bmore- i dont think people are really like that.

i bought those in yellow (the only color they had) and they suck. Honestly do not get them unless you have a very big hands. If your a grown 190 lbs man then you should be ok but for smaller guys they are terrible. The cut is very very wide. The materials and construction of the glove is good but i just hate the cut. the glove is so wide that yor thumb cant even get in there all the way. They make your thumb sit very awkwardly. And if you have slender hands then your fingers wont fit. they will push up against the leather at the end of the glove.

            not my first choice.

i would go with the grant pro gloves. same price way better quality and the 2nd most comfortable glove i have ever used. (second only to my winnings)

              I gotta agree with I3C727
I bought 2 pairs of Ringside Reyes in 14 and 16 oz.

The 16oz gloves were ridiculously huge - and there's no way I could possibly get below 190lbs.
I usually bunched my fist up on the thumb side, to try to get some sort of semblance of proper fit, but it was weird, coz there's like a groove cut out of the padding over the index & middle knuckles. When you think about it, it's extra weird, because those are the 2 main knuckles most people make contact with & they're less padded.

I much preferred the fit of the 14s, but who's gonna let a heavyweight spar with 14oz puncher's gloves? Plus, the shape of them & the hard fill make them bad for bag work.

The thumb seam is also a pain - it's much tighter than the rest of the glove & can cut off circulation.

If you get the 16s, expect to wear a knuckle guard and possibly 2 wraps on each hand. With all the extra padding on the inside, you might be able to get away with doing sparring & bag work with them without too much damage to your sparring partners or your hands & wrists.

I liked Grant much better - but Grant training gloves also require wearing at least one pair of wraps to cover the space between the knuckle & the padding, which shouldn't be a problem if you regularly wear wraps.
