I need to lose 8 pounds in 17 days. Is this possible?`

For my amateur fight, Ive come down from 160 to 154 and now i need to drop down to 145-146.

Is it possible to drop so much weight in such little time?

Any suggestions would be helpful from anyone with experience in the matter
    Much appreciated

I was just about to start a weight lose thread so instead of making another ill combine the two if you dont mind.

Im trying to lose 15 pounds and get more of that cut, lean look. So i been paying attention to my calories I'm taking in. I know you suppose to lose more calories then you take in. But I'm starting to pay attention and it seem like most foods have for example( calories 320 calories from fat 110). Am i suppose to pay attention to the overall calories or the from fat calories?

Any other tips to losing weight will help thank.

your percentage of total grams of fat should be 15% of your total calories

to lose that much weight in a little over 2 weeks may be a lot depending on your natural weight. losing about 2lbs a week would be a lot as it is and 3 would defenitely be pushing it. i say push for 2 a week and lose the last 3-5lbs in sweat because i lose about 5lbs of water just from sweating during a workout when i dress in layers.

Ive done about 6 pounds in a few hours . Ricky Hatton says , half a pound dehydrated is torture but a few pound is easy hydrated

Yes that is very doable. I myself have cut 10lbs in 2 days. I was very dehydrated but its possible. You might not want to lose all of it so soon because your body might get used to the weight come fight time. Where as if you lost it within a day or two of the weigh in, you would probably re-hydrate all 8lbs back come fight night and have a weight advantage.

Ultimately Everybody's bodies are different so go on how you feel and get to know how your body reacts to those kinds of conditions.
