    Reyes Super Bag Gloves?

Are they any good? I want a pair of Reyes or Grant gloves because they are better quality and will last longer than other brands I have used. I live in the Canada, so to order online from most stores is not practical because after shipping and customs fees you end up paying double the listed price and it's too expensive.

I just found this Canadian site that sells some Reyes products but this is the only model of gloves they have and I'm not sure if they're any good. Anyone have experience with them?

The site claims they're legit Hecho En Mexico Reyes gloves and not USA/China/Pakistani made, so they should be quality, just like to get other opinions.

Well, are you looking for bag gloves. Because they won't be the best for hitting pads with. Maybe you should ask that company if they could order training gloves for you. If you're looking for bag gloves, I think these gloves are wonderful.

Looking for gloves for everything but sparring. So pads, heavy bag, double end bag etc.

Why do you say they won't be the best for hitting pads with? Is there something different between these gloves and regular 'bag gloves'? Because I've used bag gloves for hitting pads before and never had any problems.

Or is it just your preference to use training gloves for pads and bag gloves for bags?

i probably wouldnt go with reyes for bag work. The padding isnt very good on them and is shaped awkwardly. It almost makes your fist slide downwards on the bag.

I have some grants for sale im sure youve seen the thread, i could ship to canada and you wouldnt end up paying double the list price.

Yeah I saw the thread. Unfortunately I don't have the money for either gloves right now, but the Reyes will still be available when I can save up enough pennies while yours will probably be gone.

The Grant training gloves are the ones I really want but nobody stocks them in Canada and I don't feel like paying $300 for them.

I just don't like using bag gloves to hit pads with. I don't know about these, but some bag gloves are too bulky to hit pads.
