Just Started boxing and i love it!

hi this is my first post since ive only started last Sunday.

    I'm 16 years old and i weight only 47kgs
im cantonese and quite short like my dad but also quite toned and strong (genetically).
i dont do any weight trainning or take up any sports but i can bench press 112kgs a few times ( not boasting just giving u a general idea of my strength) my speeds above average since im quite light.

EDIT : if you Plan on reading all of this you must be bored or enjoying it.

    annyywaayyss....

    My first day
i was sparring with my friend who is about a 11 stones and about a head and a bit taller than me ( i know i need to check my height )

i found he was untouchable for my height , i tried everything to try get inside.
eventually i did land a few hooks to the head and uppercuts after charging in with my turtle guard up.
in the end i was only able to land a few blows when they was able to keep me back really well....

ive tryed Ducking , Weaving , moving side to side and try to move in ,
but the huge gap in range is just too huge about another 4 inchs more reach than i have.

( my trainer actually said he would teach me how to deal with taller guys but id love advice if you guys got any for me.)

(Just thought id tell u what ive been up 2 the first day )
i have yet to meet someone my size....,

my first day at boxing i totally felt wrong using that and instinctively picked
a very tight guard both hands up over my face below the eye and a very steady orthodox stance ,learning to use the bob and weave.the coach actually had a positive comment on this style but he hasnt seen me use my feet.. but why use ur feet if your arms are generally short and alot of dynamite on your punches?
thats only what i think im totally amateur so feel free to correct me.

    Weaknesses and strengths
jab - im very unhappy with.feels very unnatural no explosion..nor dynamite..( im hopping to improve over time)
*they are not really weak but just not like a busting feeling that feels right*
Uppercut- Feels very unnatural and weak no explosion nor dynamite. ( think i will get better once i get the hang of it..)
*they are not really weak but just not like a busting feeling that feels right*

generally my left hand is i think alot weaker on the other hand my right hand is a Powerhouse....with decent speed. i think my hooks and body blows are my heavy artillery ( although they normally only connect with my friends
hips or ass since im quite short. )

this is awfully wrong and ill be surprised anyone has actually read this far
but typing this out makes me feel Great!!!

nice to hear, stick with the training, you sound like a in-fighter, so work on your foot speed, this is how you close the gap and get inside, lot of head movement, slips, bob weave. perfect your jab, and always work your way in with the jab then rip the hooks and over rights.

if you can really bench press that you must be very strong

ive seen some kids like you who are very small but naturally toned and can be very very strong

boxing is a sport for all shapes and sizes keep at it and you will do well
