I need a good skipping rope any recommendations?

I just broke my second skipping rope. Whenever I do double unders on my plastic speed rope everytime it rotates with the handlle it starts tearing and eventually it breaks. I try to make a knot from the broken rope but then it is too short.

I need a good rope that preferably has foam handles and a rope that doesn't break and will last me at least a year.

please tell me which ones you use and how long you used it?

Get a jump rope with a gyro (ball bearings? swivel? Im not sure what youd call it anymore), theres virtually no rubbing and no drag so you can spin really fast. The everlast speed ropes are nice, light and fast but you'll get the same problem, theyre only 5-12 bucks depending on where you go so it wont break the bank to get a new one.

One from walmart that cost like $10. Lasted for months so far with no problems.

Just make sure you get one fromt he fitness section, and not the kids toys section.
