Ideas for a better work out routine?

    Hello,
My birthday is this month and I'm getting a boxing gym membership. I'm pretty sure they'll get me in decent shape and teach me a lot of stuff, though I've noticed I've got poor stamina and endurance. So I've been attempting to improve these by the end of this month.

    I'm 17, 6'1 and I weigh around 203.
Mon-Sun - 30-40 minutes of Isometric and Plyometrics. 6 two minute rounds of shadow boxing. 6 two minute rounds on the bag.

If you're wonder what plyo/isometrics I'm doing, I follow title boxing's dvd workouts with Freddie Roach and Justine Fortune. They go through upper body and lower body very well.

In total I spend about an hour and a half ( or less ) a day.

Though I don't feel like this is enough..
Is this a good starter routine? Something that I should be adding? I'll be running on a treadmill 3 times a week starting next week as well.

    Any help would be lovely,
    Thanks.

keep doing what you're doing until you start at the gym then just do what they tell you.

exactly what my man peewee said what you are doing now is not really important just do whatever until you get to the boxing gym because the truth is and always will be "THE ONLY WAY TO GET READY FOR BOXING IS TO BOX"

haha I know they're going to kick my arse with work outs and that's why I don't want to walk in there completely out of shape. I want to be able to at least perform these work outs and be alive when I come out.

your first week your first week you're going to be sore as hell. if you can push through that, in terms of the workouts, it's all going to be downhill.

I think I may be able to do that. I used to wrestle, and I hear wrestling isn't on the same level but near, in terms of work outs.

              Amen Thats exactly 100% right!!!

all you guys out there going on about what shoes should I buy to train in, or should I do dips once or three times a week, how many times should I hit the tyre with the hammer etc etc when most of you just need to get in the ring and do some sparring. THAT is the best thing to build endurance, skill, speed etc
