    ****ing hate doctors

I've got Crohn's disease, had it since a was about 16, and didnt get told i had it till i was 19, so no treatment for they years.

So went to doctors 4 weeks ago, and got these tablets, 3 different kind to be exact. 1 type a take 2 three times a day, 1 i take 1 a day, and the other is a Steroid which i had to take 8 for 5 days, 7 for 5 days, etc etc you get the picture. But the doc told me a COULD POSSIBLY put on some weight, its been for weeks and ive put on a stone, but cant really see it that much, can see it in my face alot, but everywhere else still looks roughly the same jst a tiny bit more chubby, its a mother****er BUT they run out on soon and training starts on Jan 1st(although i'll be training over the holidays cos i cant drink on these and dont drink 2 much anyway) and could be fighting Thai boxing in April, and my first boxing match in March

Dude exact same boat as you man. Its rough but just chill.

From the pill paterns and side effects, it sounds like we were on the same meds too man. The steriod is a mother****er, I looked like a chipmunk by the end of it. But other then the weight, it shouldnt stop you from training. The other two pills, if they are indeed the same ones as I am thinking, just become routen, no problems really. The whole cant drink thing doesnt aply completing though, just dont make any bad habits.

Have a good holiday man, dont worry about the crohns, it will stabilize I guarantee it.

I don't know what the disease is all about, but it looks just like the doctor is looking after your best interests. Have you told him what you intend to do in terms of competiing? He may be able to help if you give him all the details
The disease is a bowl disease and you **** ALOT more than the average person lol!

Ive got UC. I went to see my new Gastro yesterday. Ive been having an absolutely horrible time since my fight.

Went on antibiotics for an amoeba I picked up. Those ****ed me up BAD. Took about a month before I was having anything even resembling runny poo.

Was finally getting back to somewhat normal and then everything went to hell. Last 3 weeks I have been having nonstop diarrhea 12-15 times a day with severe bleeding to the point of feeling woozy when I stand up.

Had to collect a stool sample this morning.

Only been able to go to the gym once in the last 2 weeks....

Yah mate, I've got some health problems myself. They make training more difficult and hurt your motivation, you just gotta work through it. Best of luck to you.
