Nice job. You fugged him up with that body shot...he never recovered.

      Whats your age and height?

That body shot killed him. You did look open for a jab as a lot of the time you rushed in trying to land your left hand. But good vid.

im 20, about 5'4. yeah ur right i do probably throw the left too much and leave myself open to shots, didnt ever feel like i was rushing though, actually felt quite composed through that fight. my trainer was telling me to move my head more during the break between rounds, dont think i really put that into action so thats something to work on. Thanks for the comments guys, keep em coming much appreciated.

Pretty good for your second fight, I think your coach is right, you are short so need to move your head more, well actually not just your head but slipping and weaving from your hips using your whole upper body - you took a few straights to the head because you didnt have enough trunk movement.

I liked the double left body/head. I like how you wasted no time finishing him off.

Your footwork can improve, you are stepping in with you stance too wide (taking a large step forward with your right while your left is too far back), try to "slide" (not literally) more, when you move in to keep your feet at a better distance apart so you are more balanced.

Being short as well I think you need to practice counter punching for when you come up against better opponents, as a southpaw you can effectively use you left to counter against orthodox boxers. Another thing good to have in your arsenal is to learn throwing a fake right followed by the looping overhand left - very effective is done right at the right time

nah that was just the semi final, i won the final fight as well (also by ko) but im struggling to find a vid of it, i got a medal after that win but its not much to write home about to be honest lol, i dnt care i just like winning fights!

Thanks for the feedback so far guys, Trrmo that was some good feedback, nice to hear a thorough assessment of what im doing wrong, thankyou. i noticed on the vid my feet looked very wide apart, especially when throwing my left, i'll work on that when i get back to the gym, along with the lateral movement which my trainer is always ****ing on about anyway.

You didn't need alot of lateral movement here because of your opponent. If anyone needed it, it was him...as you were doing the coming forward, and he could easily have used his reach to an advantage by sidestepping, pivoting and throwing.

It is definately something a person wants in their arsenal. You run into a windmill thrower, you have two options...go up the middle which sometimes gets you in their game, or move laterally and strike...which I prefer as I have the height.
